The stock market gives you too much to look at

There are thousands of listed companies, hundreds of unfamiliar metrics and a constant stream of news. You can spend hours researching and still be unsure what matters or where to begin.

Analyse Insights gives you a clearer starting point. The community shares companies worth testing.

Every company is ranked against a curated universe of more than 1000 liquid, established and high-performing companies across major US, Australian and New Zealand markets, including S&P 500, Nasdaq, ASX and NZX-listed businesses.

Every company is compared using the same approach. The 50 strongest matches are brought together in one living leaderboard.

How it works

1

Share a company

Community members suggest stocks they believe are worth researching.

2

Compare it fairly

Every company in the full universe is reviewed using the same growth, consistency, momentum and trend approach.

3

Earn a place

The highest-ranking companies appear in the Top 50. A new company must outperform one already there to enter.

4

Keep proving it

The rankings refresh as market data changes, new companies are added and existing companies move up or down.

Learn More About How It Works

What the Top 50 actually means

The Top 50 is not a list of 50 stocks you should buy. It is a focused research shortlist — a practical place to begin when the wider market feels too large to navigate.

Each company has earned its place by matching our specific growth-and-momentum approach better than the other companies in the current universe. Use the list to decide what deserves closer research, not to skip research.

One score. Four simple questions.

1

Has the company grown strongly over the last five years?

2

Has that growth been reasonably consistent?

3

Is recent performance still holding up?

4

Is the direction improving, steady or weakening?

Those questions are combined into one Score from 0 to 100. A higher Score means the company is a stronger relative fit for this model. It is not a prediction of what the share price will do next.

Optional Alerts and Summaries

Community finds the ideas. The model decides which rise.

No single person can search every listed company. The community helps widen the search by sharing companies others may not have found.

Once a company is submitted, popularity does not decide the result. It is compared with the rest of the universe using the same rules. Companies cannot pay for a place and a familiar name does not receive special treatment.

Status tells you what needs attention

Strong

What it means: A high-ranking company with a positive or steady direction and no current warning signal.

How to use it: A useful starting point for deeper research. It is not a buy instruction.

Stable

What it means: A company that is holding together without an active warning, but does not currently meet the Strong standard.

How to use it: Review it in context and watch whether its Score or Trend improves.

Watch

What it means: One area needs closer attention, such as a weakening Trend or a current news or price alert.

How to use it: Open the stock and understand the reason before drawing a conclusion.

Review

What it means: The clearest attention flag, usually because the direction has weakened materially or more than one warning is active.

How to use it: Pause and investigate. Review does not automatically mean sell.

These are attention prompts, not buy, hold or sell instructions, and they do not change the performance ranking.

Made for people who are still learning

You do not need to understand every market term before you start. Analyse Insights gives you the headline first, explains the numbers in plain language and lets you open more detail only when you need it.

Start with the overall Score, Status and Trend.

Use filters to narrow the list to what matters to you.

Open the detail page when you are ready to understand the reasons behind the result.

Ask the Research Assistant to compare companies or explain a metric in ordinary language.

Our Mission

A clearer place to begin

To help everyday investors find a sensible starting point, understand what they are looking at and research promising companies together.

Found a company worth testing?

Share the ticker with the community. It will be added to the review queue, checked during the next ranking run and compared with every other company in the universe.

If it earns a Top 50 position, it joins the visible leaderboard. If it does not, the result still tells you how it compares with the competition.
